I am working on an extension to auth that allows single signon from OpenID, Google, Yahoo, AOL, Facebook , MySpace and Windows Live.
It use the RPX service from JanRain and allows consolidation of different identities as a single user. RPX has an ajax signin popup. Look here: https://rpxnow.com/docs.
