Say I would like to create a project that uses eBay as a database. One of the things I'm dreaming of, is making ad hook storage engine, for the purpose of reading eBay listings. I'm not looking to hack DAL for this purpose (and make upgrades hard), but to extend DAL, and use it's built ins to search eBay. Is there a way to add a storage engine, without changing DAL code?
