The right one is:

db1 = DAL('sqlite://storage.sqlite', migrate_enabled=False,
folder='applications/AppA/
databases')

and of course:

db1 = DAL('sqlite://storage.sqlite', migrate_enabled=False,
folder='/full/path/to/
applications/AppA/databases)

Maybe the first one should shown in the book?
