I just sent Massimo another patch, if it is included then:
'/{ownership.personid}/pets[pet.id]'
would work to get all pet table fields for those pets whose owner is
personid.
Trunk version 4613 already has support for
*'*/pets/{ownership.personid}/toys[toy.owner]'
