I am very sorry for this thread. I am not sure about the reason of problems. I have now few web2py versions here (include 2 copies of 2.3.2-src) and proper code with date formatting, which however fails with one copy of 2.3.2-src versions. So it looks like there were problems with date formatting, and later, maybe, with corruption of web2py.
