Sorry to surface such an old thread, but I'm having this exact problem
right now. It is clearly something data dependent, since this web2py
system has performed flawlessly for a long time. I can't help thinking its
something related to my "compiling" and "uncompiling" the application one
time when the process failed, and I had to remove the "compiled" directory
manually. Ever since, I've had this error when I try to look at ANY error
tickets. Bizarre. Here's a sample of my stack at failure:
