note, I wasn't proposing jquery-ui, it's just that given that jquery-ui is 
popular there are a few workaround for the problems mentioned in various 
places. Boostrap's tabs are likely to have the same issue, and the 
workarounds can be adapted, you just have to hook to the "the tab has been 
clicked on" event.
