There's beauty, and there's function; I think the menus are too easy to loose the mouse on, not enough overlap for a "faster" moving pointer... I lost submenu 3 / 10 times, and had to restart. By comparison, Eric Meyer's side menus - with _directly_ to one side (left, right, about, below; I don't think it matters) feels more "in the trajectory" of a moving mouse, and "lost submenu" selection was 0/10 (or successful hit == 10/10).
I agree w/ Alvaro about looks, but that should a default layout thing. I think welcome should be that - a minimalist demo app. I think as the docs / docstrings get better, there is no need to have more extensive welcome, and to force developer to remove stuff (I do not like that function I think). BTW - sorry! I was going to send templates tonight, but ... yard work, and re-installing ubuntu took up my evening... I am at least up to where I was yesterday w.r.t. what is installed and builds :-) - Yarko On Sun, May 10, 2009 at 2:30 AM, Álvaro Justen [Turicas] < [email protected]> wrote: > > response.subtitle = 'customize me!' > would be: > response.subtitle = T('customize me!') > :-) > > Text of response.flash is not vertical-centered in Firefox 3.0.6 on > GNU/Linux. > > -- > Álvaro Justen > Peta5 - Telecomunicações e Software Livre > 21 3021-6001 / 9898-0141 > http://www.peta5.com.br/ > > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web2py Web Framework" group.
