I work on a MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard or an iMac with Lion Server installed and to work with applications that are not available for Mac I have a HP with Windows installed. I did try using keyboard shortcuts, but since the actions they invoke sometimes vary between both operating systems I gave up. I also found that the action a keyboard shortcut invokes can vary between applications on the same operating system.
