Yeah, some of the statements I called criticism are very ridiculous and I would like to mention them because they are funny. However I think that users who do not know web2py except for what is said about it can have a very wrong concept about the framework and it could lead them to choose any other sound framewok without even trying web2py first. The proposal aims to warn potential users about unjustified statements but also to give some background on other more serious comparisons. Argentina has lots of django mongers, and maybe the most of the criticism comes from them. I also think it is a mistake to use the zen of Python to discard frameworks because of the "... obvious way of doing things ..." wether we are choosing one or another. Tim Peters or whoever created that was not talking about web development frameworks, but about writing Python programs. -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web2py-users" group.
