Web3py is still far away from being ready to use. There are even typos in import statements :) Repo is untouched for the last 9-10 months. But I'm sure Massimo will continue to work on it. There are many of us who would like to help. Personally I find it hard to contribute while web3py is in current state, unless I'm given directions on what exactly should be done.
