not sure, when I run the debug in IE8 it trips up on line 43 and so no, I am not seeing the 404, but I don't know the IE8 dev tools well enough to be positive.
So the fact that I am getting this GET request indicates the browser is seeing a problem in jQuery? Maybe that line 43?
