You can use it without the @, just have to specify the user and pass in the connection string. If you want to use a domain login, put the doman then the backslash then the username, in the username field. 'trusted_connection' yes, that means it will pass through the authentication that the web2py service is using, or if it's not run as a service, it will pass through the current user's credentials.
