If you don't want to "un-lazy" the table definition, instead of:
db.email_prefs.email_order_received.widget = advanced_editor
just do:
db.define_table('email_prefs', ...,
Field('email_order_received', widget=advanced_editor), ...)
You can specify all the field attributes when the field is defined rather
than after.
