According to chapter 6.4 of the book let's have a connection like
db = DAL('sqlite://storage.db')
and the statement
>>> print db._dbname
sqlite
(1) What I do not understand:
Why is _dbname == "sqlite"? I think that is the name of the *connector *and
the name of the *database *should be "storage.db"
(2) I get this name using db._uri.split('//')[1], but this fails with uris
like 'sqlite:memory'
What is the best way to get the table name only?
(3) What is the best way to get a table name as "db.name"
