@DenesL...uhm...what I was saying is that a plugin **should** expect
anything in a data-* to be escaped. This means that from a plugin
standpoint,
<input data-options="{"mode":"calbox"}" type="text" id=
"test1" />
should be treated exactly as
<input data-options='{"mode":"calbox"}' type="text" id="test2" />
As a matter of fact, jQuery treats them equally.
Both this calls
$('#test1').data('options')
$('#test2').data('options')
return the same exact object.
So no need for that workaround Anthony said.
