I am going to change this. This was new in version 1.62 and not really
well thought. In trunk now you can do
{{=MENU(response.menu,_class='web2py-menu web2py-menu-horizontal'}}
and this more in line with the syntax of other helpers. The syntax in
the previous example is gone.
