Hi Anthony,

Thanks for your response. I made the recommended changes, and it got rid of 
the "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token < " error. 

I'm now just getting the "Uncaught ReferenceError: data is not defined ".error, 
and of course nothing displays from the document.write call.
