in \web2py\gluon\tests\test_validators.py def test_IS_TIME(self):
rtn = IS_TIME()('12:00 am')
self.assertEqual(rtn, (datetime.time(0, 0), None))
rtn = IS_TIME()('12:01 am')
self.assertEqual(rtn, (datetime.time(0, 1), None))
rtn = IS_TIME()('12:00 pm')
self.assertEqual(rtn, (datetime.time(12, 0), None))
