I guess you suggest something like:

{{month=0}}
{{for row in rows:}}
   {{if row.post_date.month!=month:}}{{if month:}}</div>{{pass}}<DIV>
{{pass}}
   {{=row.post}}{{month =  row.post_date.month}}
{{pass}}
{{if rows:}}</div>{{pass}}

there may be a better solution but this is ok.
