After reading a discussion on another list, I thought I'd poll people here (at least those who haved worked with one or more CMS) about what you'd expect from a Content Management System that you wouldn't get from Version Control System. This is more for my edification (or education) than because I expect to enter the discussion on the other list.
The now-antique CMS mentioned in that there discussion was Quark Publishing System. What would a modern CMS have that QPS didn't? Is MS Sharepoint a CMS?
