Field('country', type='string', requires=[IS_NOT_EMPTY(), IS_IN_DB(db, db.
countries.id, '%(name)s')]))
another way around :
Field('country', type='string', requires=IS_IN_DB(db, db.countries.id,
'%(name)s') ) )
because IS_IN_DB will cover IS_NOT_EMPTY validation too.
