My machine: ubuntu 14.04 LTS, 64 bit My web2py: 2.9.5-stable+timestamp.2014.03.16.02.35.39
I get this when running web2py.py: "WARNING:web2py:GUI not available because Tk library is not installed" I tried downloading/installing Tk 8.6.1 from Active State but it didn't fix it. I also tried: >sudo apt-get install python-tk which removed the warning, but I still do not see the GUI/console. Sorry, I'm a noob. Which package do I need and where do I install it to get web2py's GUI/console to display?
