You need something like:
response.menu = [
(T('Analysis'), False, URL(), [
(T('Revisions'), False, URL('default,
'index'), []),
(T('Code Introspection'), False,
URL('default, 'introspection'), []),
])
]
For brevity's sake I did a menu only with analysis, you can add the code
section to that.
If you want menu items to become active you can do something like:
(T('Revisions'), request.controller ==
'default' and request.function=='index', URL('default, 'index'), [])
