Does anyone see anything wrong with this "represent" function?
The goal is have first_name, last_name (and later other auth_user fields)
appear to represent "created_by" field - SuperObjectComment.created_by
No error is raised, but the (correct) primary key is displayed (the number)
instead of first_name, and last_name.
def person_represent(id, r):
row = db((db.auth_user.id==db.SuperObjectComment.created_by)
).select().first()
return '%s %s' % (row.auth_user.first_name, row.auth_user.last_name)
db.SuperObjectComment.created_by.represent = person_represent
thanks,
Alex Glaros
