Looks like the Ajax call isn't getting made. Check the browser developer tools to see what's going on. Is there any Ajax call or JS error in the console? Perhaps you don't have web2py.js loaded or there is some conflict between jqwidgets and web2py.js. Is it possible jQuery has been loaded twice?
