this "not defined" error appears in view, but is clearly defined in
controller. Why does it give this error?
<type 'exceptions.NameError'> name 'specificObjectRecord' is not defined
if I delete the view and just let web2py create the view, controller works
fine.
CONTROLLER
def edit_object_comment():
db.SuperObjectComment.superObjectID.readable = True
db.SuperObjectComment.superObjectID.writable = False
comment_id = request.args(0) or redirect(URL('view_suggestions'))
specificObjectRecord = db.SuperObjectComment(request.args(0))
commentsHeader=db.SuperObject(specificObjectRecord.superObjectID)
form = SQLFORM(db.SuperObjectComment, comment_id)
if form.process().accepted:
response.flash = 'form accepted'
redirect(URL('comment_on_an_object',
vars=dict(filter=specificObjectRecord.superObjectID, id=request.args(0))))
elif form.errors:
response.flash = 'form has errors'
return dict(form=form)
