It does work in Safari 4 and Firefox, I have not yet been able to test
it in IE or Opera.

I put the return false back to were it was, and it still works in
Safari and Firefox. So, as a reference this:

http://www.w3schools.com/js/tryit.asp?filename=tryjs_openallwindow

is not a indicative.
