What happens when you refresh the page? Which version of web2py? (It's a new install, so maybe you're on the latest, but details, please!) Which version of Chrome? Ah, you've answered that, but number-details help here, too. On a recent release, while trying the upgrade, FF wasn't always displaying file contents in the editor, but a refresh made them visible. I Also, since I have NoScript going in that browser, I had to make sure to whitelist the server. I hadn't noticed it for a while, but just got it to happen on 2.9.5-stable+timestamp.2014.03.16.02.35.39 (Running on Rocket 1.2.6, Python 2.7.3) I had the editor open, but with a stale page (DHCP changed the development server's IP), and when I corrected the IP got a blank region within the frame; refresh from the address bar gave me the contents back. /dps This happens only on Chrome (mac osx yosemite, running latest trunk > version); Firefox and Safari work fine, but I prefer to use Chrome if I > can.
