If I understood correctly, the syntax goes like this:
http://server:port/app/ctl/fct/a/b/c?p=1&q=test
a,b,c are args and you find them in request.args as ['a','b','c']
p,q are named vars returned by forms,
they would be in request.vars as {'p':'1', 'q':'test'}
see p.86-87 in the pdf manual.
