It did help to delete the folder upon upgrading via browser. But I experience something odd now, when I set-up web2py from the new source files (not via upgrade because that works) on Linux I cannot uninstall application that I have just created and also I cannot install external application using a browser I mean. My web2py folder is ownd by www-data. I can run however my old application if I copy its folder to this new web2py (2.10.3) .
