This can be resolved by changing one line in markmin2html.py 554 regex_auto = re.compile(r'(?<!["\w>/=])(?P<k>\w+://[\w\d\-+_=?%&/:.,;#]+\w|[\w\-.]+@[\w\-.]+)',re.M) to 554 regex_auto = re.compile(r'(?<!["\w>/=])(?P<k>\w+://[\w\d\-+_=?%&/:.,;#]+\w|[\w\-.]+@[\w\-.]*\w+)',re.M)
