I do not know Cappuchino but it is an interesting concept for 'desktop' client-side apps. So a Cappuchino client-side app could connect to your Web2py server-side app. At any rate, I suppose Cappuchino must connect to a server for DB functionality, so why not Web2py running on GAE or elsewhere. However, I find that web2py creates apps good enough for my business these days.
