strange, in my local, the behaviour make me submit twice for the form in first component (web2py source version 2.11.2, python 2.7.8, windows 7 x64), while i test the same app in pythonanywhere, it didn't make me submit twice for the form in first component (same like yours). already remove the old web2py folder with new extracted from web2py_src.zip, but still got the same result.
