I looked at the deployment script in detail. But I can't figure out how you
could do it.
I tried adding server blocks in the sites enabled folder in nginx like this:

server {
        listen          80;
        server_name     www.myexamplew2papp.com
<http://www.google.com/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.myexamplew2papp.com&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNGJfTu-OEbGD9pJTlkO7cQdwBNtNA>
;
        ###to enable correct use of response.static_version
        location ~* ^/(\w+)/static(?:/_[\d]+\.[\d]+\.[\d]+)?/(.*)$ {
            alias /home/www-data/web2py/applications/$1/static/$2;
            expires max;
            ### if you want to use pre-gzipped static files (recommended)
            ### check scripts/zip_static_files.py and remove the comments
            # include /etc/nginx/conf.d/web2py/gzip_static.conf;
        }
        ###

        ###if you use something like myapp = dict(languages=[en, it, jp],
default_language=en) in your routes.py
        #location ~* ^/(\w+)/(en|it|jp)/static/(.*)$ {
        #    alias /home/www-data/web2py/applications/$1/;
        #    try_files static/$2/$3 static/$3 =404;
        #}
        ###

        location / {
            #uwsgi_pass      127.0.0.1:9001;
            uwsgi_pass      unix:///tmp/web2py.socket;
            include         uwsgi_params;
            uwsgi_param     UWSGI_SCHEME $scheme;
            uwsgi_param     SERVER_SOFTWARE    nginx/$nginx_version;

            ###remove the comments to turn on if you want gzip compression
of your pages
            # include /etc/nginx/conf.d/web2py/gzip.conf;
            ### end gzip section

            ### remove the comments if you use uploads (max 10 MB)
            #client_max_body_size 10m;
            ###
        }
}

server {
    listen          80;
    server_name    www.myexamplew2papp.com/wpblog;
    index index.htm;
    root /home/www-data/subdomain/html;
    index index.php index.html index.htm;
    location / {
                # try_files $uri $uri/ =404;
                try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?q=$uri&$args;
        }

        error_page 404 /404.html;

        error_page 500 502 503 504 /50x.html;
        location = /50x.html {
                root /usr/share/nginx/html;
        }

        location ~ \.php$ {
                try_files $uri =404;
                fastcgi_split_path_info ^(.+\.php)(/.+)$;
                fastcgi_pass unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock;
                fastcgi_index index.php;
                include fastcgi_params;

        }
}

but I just get the web2py 404 page not found site fromm my app.
