The following html fragment is generated by SQLFORM.grid (create form)....
<select class="generic-widget form-control" id="txn_editor_account_id"
name="account_id">
<option value=""></option><option value="1">Cash</option><option
value="2">Sale</option></select>
The following code in my controller action successfully sets the select
value = 1.
form.element(_id='txn_editor_account_id')['_value'] = 1
But the displayed widget remains blank?
What can I do to get the widget to display the new value?
