You should not unzip the code you download.

1) install python 2.5
2) install web2py from source
3) upload reddish into web2py (web2py will download, unzip and install
it)
4) check that it works under web2py
5) install google app engine launcher
6) make a gae project that points to the web2py folder
7) start the gae local and check that you can access reddish
8) press the deploy button

The app.yaml and index.yaml are in web2py, not in the individual apps.
