many things are unclear: - "I'm trying" ---> meaning it's not working ? what's the issue ? does it return an exception ? - the code you posted doesn't call anywhere an .update() . Goes without saying that no record will be ever updated - the code you posted is in between a model and a controller ..... which is it ?
