Hi, I am always getting extra charcters while trying to retrieve the data from MySql . For now I am using string functions to remove the extra character as I am not able to solve this error. For example , if my column data is "XXXXX" I am getting data in web2py as "((u'XXXX',))" I am getting the entire data with these extra characters .Please provide any solution .
