not sure enough about the boolean configuration in appconfig. just tested
it but return an error traceback, e.g.
*appconfig.ini*
[smtp]
ssl = true
*db.py*
auth.settings.create_user_groups = myconf.get('smtp.ssl')
*traceback error*
TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for %: 'bool' and 'Storage'
