<input type="text" id="search" />

<input type="button" id="searchbutton" value="Search"
onclick="location.href='{{=URL('search','index', args=[search.text])}}'" />

<script>
          document.getElementById("search")
    .addEventListener("keyup", function(event) {
    event.preventDefault();
    if (event.keyCode == 13) {
        document.getElementById("searchbutton").click();
    }
});
</script>

I see that neither enter works nor search.text is correct at this context.
How should I correct it?
