i think you can use A callback or onclick with jQuery.post()
e.g. put it on views
{{=A(I(_class = 'glyphicon glyphicon-remove-sign'), callback =
URL(link_callback, args = id) ) }}
or
{{=A(I(_class = 'glyphicon glyphicon-remove-sign'), _onclick =
"jQuery.post('%s')" % URL(link_callback, args = id) ) }}
