The web2py book - Chapter 6 says:

*DAL Rows*
is the object returned by a database select. It can be thought of as a list
of Row rows:

rows = db(db.mytable.myfield != None).select()

*Row* contains field values.

for row in rows:
    print row.myfield

Why does my code:

rows = db(db.auth_user.email !=None).select()
for row in rows:
    print row.email

print None?

There are 4 users with email addresses in the auth_user DB
