Hi, I'd like to dump a small set of user specific data on login (to keep this data "alive" during user session) but am not sure about the container ? should it be the session ( i also would like to store sessions in cookies), html5 sessionStorage, cache to disk......or perhaps this is a bad idea since there's little space available in cookies and local storage security and/or logic issues.
i have read this article which seems quite anti-html5-local-storage https://www.whitehatsec.com/blog/web-storage-security/ I don't understand how local storage could be utilized outside of the scope of an application "business logic" ? -- Resources: - http://web2py.com - http://web2py.com/book (Documentation) - http://github.com/web2py/web2py (Source code) - https://code.google.com/p/web2py/issues/list (Report Issues) --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web2py-users" group.
