You should not be unhappy about it -- db.py is intended to be edited by 
you. The "welcome" app is just a scaffolding app to get you started. The 
only files not intended to be edited are the appadmin controller and view 
files and web2py.js (and of course, you *can* edit those files, but they 
are framework files, so if you upgrade, you will have to merge your changes 
with the upgrade).
