Hi all,

I have been trying to work how to open a table if the condition is true.

If know that *show_if* will only reference if all fields are in the same
table.

Example below:

Models:
db.define_table('taxpayer',
                Field('name'),
                Field('address'),
                Field('spouse', 'boolean' ))

db.define_table('spouse',
               Field('spouse_name'),
               Field('spouse_phone'))

Controllers:
def taxpayer():
    *db.spouse.show_if =(db.taxpayer.spouse==True)*
    form= SQLFORM(db.taxpayer).process()
    if form.accepted:
        response.flash = 'record inserted'
    return dict (form=form)

Thanks for any input

Cheers
Anthony
