Hi, I wanted to check back to see if there was any update on this. With more and more database solutions moving to hosted DB services (so no SSH tunnels), Web2Py apps do not have the ability to connect to these securely.
We are stuck hosting a dedicated machine to server our MySQL and run an SSH server. We'd like to switch to Amazon Aurora for example.
