It much easier to make ssh port fowarding remote 5432 to local 5433 for
instance and then configure pgadmin to use the local port, everything goes
to ssh tunnel between you and the server...

ssh -L 5433:127.0.0.1:5432 your_user@remote_ip_or_dns
