Becuase these two are equivalent:
{{response.write(' | '.join(map(lambda m:'<a href="%s">%s</a>'% (m[2],m
[0]),response.menu_user)),False)}}
{{=XML(' | '.join(map(lambda m:'<a href="%s">%s</a>'% (m[2],m
[0]),response.menu_user)))}}
but response.write returns None
