The usage string is just a little confusing in this regard. Here's one
way.
1. Download the new "source code" from the download page.
2. Put the downloaded zip file in the same directory as your old
web2py/ directory (not inside it).
3. Unzip the new version on top of the old one.
4. If you want to upgrade the applications (admin/examples/welcome):
cd web2py
python web2py.py -u yes
Alternatively, you can download and unzip the new version, copy your
old applications folder and routes.py and anything else you need to
it, and then run the upgrade.
